Wrongful termination

I was recently fired from my position as assistant restaurant gm after the person I was up against for the position and her cronies went to my district manager with allegations of me using drugs.. After I was called down to the office I offered to go for a drug test through their clinic or get a hair follicle test at my own expense and they refused and fired me.. Is this even legal??

You can fight that,if they fired you based on someone else statement of drug use and they didn't test you, what was the reason for determination?

If they refused to drug test you I would call unemployment of whatever state u are in and plead your case.Hope it goes well and good luck in finding something else in case you are looking for a new job.

If they told you no to all of that, then they are a dirty bird too.

No because I have to text you first and doesn't matter what job you were in if you came up positive they would have to offer you rehab at their expense

I don't know if it is illegal but that's a bunch of crock! You must have been doing a good job, so they can go blow a hole!
