Im losing hope
Why on Earth would any employer request to schedule a telephone interview with someone and never call at the agreed day and time?
This has happened 3 times in the last 9 weeks. I always promptly email them after the missed appointment by requesting an opportunity to reschedule but i never hear back from them. After submitting 30+ resumes since August 1st I feel like giving up and spending my life preparing food at Tacobell for real developers who actually have an employer but when I discover a new job posting on Indeed that I clearly qualify for I begin to feel suddenly confident and excited about the future again. Am I becoming Bipolar?
I just want to add that if you're an employed web developer, please take pride in your position and not take it for granted. I would give anything to work again!

Look on Amazon website they are hiring like crazy go too there website at the button hit Careers im sure you got it from there!!!

I’m having the same problem with electrical engineering. I’m joining the Air Force if I don’t have a job by October.

Ghosting from employers is the worse than I've ever seen it. I've had several calls, agreed times, then they fall of the planet. I don't like it when employee's pull that, but legitimate companies that do this piss me off.

Hey, don't feel bad. I had my Unemployment case restart after a month of unpaid requests. Do your absolute best to not let it bring you down. Keep trying!

Do not give up. Network with your LinkedIn folks and reach out to many if you can. It is a very different world today.

Don't give up! It is just a different job world these days. Keep pushing the right job will come......remember there is a reason for everything

I think I can understand your predicament! It happened to me twice also! Come & hear about our business opportunities! Let’s talk!
As a formal manager I know the IT company I worked for would post job openings when we were doing cut backs. They were trying to find good experienced people that would be willing to work for less so they could hire and cut the ones that was making more money. Sad practice for a company and it's one of the reasons I'm no longer there. I'm seem to be getting the same treatment in the IT world. I have the experience, training and certs with Schooling but since a lot of jobs is going over seas they want us all we offer for pennies. I can't afford to go back in time and make what I was making in high school at my first job. All we can do is hanging in there and hope some company out there is willing to pay for what we have to offer. Good luck all!
