Insurance Company and deceptive practices.
I have been searching earnestly for employment in the clerical field. But all I seem to get is companies like Banker's Trust and others call you and tell you they would like to interview you for a position. You ask for clarification of what the position is and then you are lied to. You go out to the designated site only to find out that you are not going to be interviewed you are entered into one of their insurance salesman seminars for hours at hand. You have wasted train fare, not to mention your time. Something needs to be done about these deceptive practices.

Ray, I'm so sorry to hear that has happened to you. I've fallen victim to that before, and it's infuriating to find yourself in that situation. I would make sure you research every company before you apply for their job postings. Lots of times, you'll find reviews on Google about that company (I usually search the company's name + scam). Let us know how else we can help with your job search!
Woah, really? I think if they don't wanna give you the info up front and you have to ask for it, maybe just stay away. That's awful that they would do that to people who are just looking for a way to support themselves!
