Spare me your biased rhetoric..
What do you mean “i’m not a good fit!” I think the rhetoric companies use to disguise their cultural biases and discriminate against applicants is downright disgusting. I always try to be super careful not to jump to conclusions as a young minority whose’ benefited from the social changes as a result of the struggles endured by our forefathers but some of the most recent experiences I’ve had job searching are just too painfully obvious to ignore. You can be a perfect match in education, qualifications, experience, and skills on paper but once you get into that interview room the wrong race, age, gender, or even height is an instant disqualification. You Auto-Default into the infamous “wrong fit” category. Those companies should just go back to the old jim crow ‘NO Service’ signs of the early 20th century and spare grown men and women trying to find a job the indirect humiliation.

Expect unsympathetic comments when you put personal stuff out there last that last message but don’t be discouraged by that. Does bias and discrimination exist in the workforce, YES. But for every 1 company illegally practicing that method in hiring there are 3 others that are not. Do more research and focus you attention on the latter.

STOP complaining if you claim to be someone who’s benefited from the struggles made by others in the past. Don’t assume the worst just because you feel that you're in convenient position to do so. Your superstardom record of achievements isn’t going to be a good fit for everyone's roster. Rejection is part of the process so don’t look for a loophole in the system, get out there, and keep trying!
Been there my friend so I know what your talking about but don’t waste another minute dwelling on those experiences. Making a case about that not being a reason for getting hired is difficult to prove and waste of time and energy in the long run. Besides why would you want to work for a company that’s not going to value you for who you culturally and as a human being.
