Very upset ! Confused !
So recently I saw an ad on Indeed about a company , " Stylist to a T " that was hiring for a fall internship , now as someone who is very interested in Fashion and knows social media very well, I decided to take the chance and apply. Every requirement that was applied to this position was definitely what I held as well. When I applied, I got an response literally THREE minutes later stating that I did not have what it takes to get the internship which I was extremely confused about because my resume consisted of all the requirements and I was not even asked to join fo an interview. Yes I was upset because I feel as though the company did not give me chance. But things happen for a reason and I will definitely find better opportunities.

I apologize, but 3 minutes doesn't even make sense. It's like they had this set-up for automated response, but that wouldn't work for this application. What I would keep an eye on for awhile is that if they got your contact info it could be a scam. I agree you should go for something else, but this sounds crazy. Good Luck...

Maybe you should contact the company directly. It could of been an automated response.

HI Aaliyah, Im sorry this didn't pan out but don't let it get you down. Finding the right position and fit usually means going through a whole bunch of "nos" til you get to that "yes". Oftentimes the no has nothing to do with you specifically, but its hard to not let it affect your attitude - I get it.
Just keep moving forward. Strive to keep a positive attitude. I wouldn't waste any more energy on that one but rather take that energy and put it toward finding a new opportunity that will treat you better!
Good luck - you've got a lot of fellow Jobcasers rooting for you!

I reviewed the ad and it does say that 1 year social media marketing experience is required.
You don't have your resume posted so we can't tell for certain if you have marketing experience, but it is definitely not the same as being savvy with social media. It means that you have to have a track record of 1 year experience running targeted advertising through social media platforms, being able to provide quantifiable metrics that show your advertising resulted in increased sales/hits, and knowing the back-end analytics of social networks.
I blame them, their ad leaves a lot of blanks in what the required 1" year experience in social media marketing" means.
If you do indeed have that experience, then who knows. They have their reasons for not moving forward with your candidacy, it doesn't mean it is a scam or a fraud. It simply means that even though you feel you are qualified, you might not have what they are looking for. Again, that is on them for not being more succinct.
