I have applied to 75 or more jobs, to know availle. The companies that do call for screenings for an interview thinks they have gotten around asking how old are you. What they are doing is asking when did you graduate from high school. And once you tell them, I get hung up on not just once, but at lease 2 or 3 times per day.

The problem most companies fear is if they hire someone with years of experience than they will unwilling to adapt to their environment. Or even worse will not be willing to listen to a manager is probably younger. I would deal with it head on and raise the issue, but also bring show the benefits to hiring you.
