I’m excited to say that today I was offered a position with a very stable and secure local agency. I’ll be on the administrative side, which is exactly as I had hoped for. Premlimary background checks must be completed (no worries there) before anything is official, but I am so very optimistic and excited. For the first time ever I was asked for letters of recommendation. I took about a half an hour to decide on who to seek. But ultimately I chose a former supervisor, recent coworker, and an executive director to a local not for profit charity organization that mh husband and I work closely with. Two of the letters have been completed and sent. I’m just waiting on the third. Here’s to new beginnings and accepting and succeeding with challenges presented to me! I can’t wait to bring my career with this agency!
