I have tried to apply here in the past but I have had problems with the survey questions. I did work at Cambria in Le Sueur MN but I decided to attend classes full time at SCC in N. Mankato. I have an A.A.S. degrees in Culinary Arts and am now back in the kitchen working as a line cook at 3rd St.Tavern in St. Peter MN. It has been difficult financially . I am married with 2 sons, they are 2 years old and 12 weeks old. I want to do my best for them. I have a friend that recently got a job at the Distribution Center in Mankato MN and keeps telling me that I should apply here again and that somebody here will be willing to work with me so I thought I'd give this a try I just found the site on my email. Forgive me if I sound like I'm being argumentative, but my son has worked at Walmart for over six years. In that time he has never received 40 hours a week, nor any kind of medical benefits. Furthermore, the majority of jobs at Walmart do not pay a "livable wage". It is not, nor will it ever be, acceptable for a corporation which last year alone made a "net income" of $13.64 billion to not offer 40 hours a week, medical benefits, and a livable wage to ALL of it's employees. I do my best to NOT support any corporation who treats their employees so horribly. I've said my peace. Amen!
