Searching For A New Job
I was Terminated October 2, 2017 after 17 years at this company. Now at 62 yrs of age it's really tough looking for a new job. I was replaced by two younger persons. Employers are looking for young blood at minimal wages. What I was making for a decent income but now this company has new new employees for less than I was getting. I'm truly scared what my future hold for me, will I get another jobs that pays the same??? I'm a mechanical cad designer/engineer.

Mark, You ask, "will I find a another job that pays the same? Honestly, more than likely not I'm sorry to say although my honest opinion is just that... an opinion and by no means a fact. Experience and pay is a concern for recruiters when considering applicants with your background. The trend now, particularly in hight tech and computer aided design industries is hire young and hire cheap. This, however, does not mean your out for the count.
