What can I do to hold Olympic steel accountable.
I was wrongfully terminated by the management at Olympic steel, Iowa division. 2 weeks from my 7 year anniversary. And they owe me my acquired vacation time and a pay raise that was never applied. I've held many roles there. Overhead crane operator, forklift operator, floor supervisor, scheduling supervisor ,safety committee, first responders, and all those little details that go with those positions. My current position was senior cnc Pressbrake machinists. So my wife ended up having a cancerous tumor the size of a big grapefruit. Well I had missed work going to different doctors trying to diagnose her then went on fmla. I was told that from the gm to the floor supervisors had a meeting's trying to figure out how to stop from being able to use it. Anyway the mgt. Team down there are very vindictive, deceitful, two faced, hostile and a couple even an affair..yuck..they will say you did/didn't do something just to right you up if you're not in they're click....anyway I was told by people that I could trust of what was said about me and how they were to somehow get me out the door. They have defiled my character, covering up the real reason why they wanted me gone..because of the fmla. And have not given me what's owed me. And just by Iowa law they are in violation. Just for that..cooperate office in Bedford heights, Ohio is no different...you can't any thing far as they're policies because they can't follow them...I need help going after this company..also spread the about real Olympic steel....now at 50 years old I have to start over again..because they straight up fabricated a story......PLEASE HELP....
Hi Ben Williams
Oh my goodness, I am so sorry you're going through this. Thoughts and well wishes are with you and your wife in this tough time.
Have you reached out to any lawyers in your area to provide some guidance with how to go about this wrongful termination?
