Older worker
I am disabled and a bit old (60)...but i am working part time. I drive Amish people from one family. I also volunteer. I will be teaching art to seniors next year in February. Each week. Just a note to those.Who think its over when the paycheck job ends...well..im here to say it ain't over til you go to glory! Dont reinvent the wheel...just reinvent your self! Put yourself back up on Gods easel+let HIm finish the work!

I feel you should leave that driving job alone !

It is hard , but you have keep moving on ! I am 62 , I have to keep busy . There is still time to be a credit to our community , they can learn from us..

Thank you Ms. Valerie for these encouraging words. At 62 years young, I am. Blessed to be able to still workout with the youngsters in the gym, thus it keeps actively seeking other things I want to accomplish!!

God Bless!

well I'm 48 so I still have a long way to go my problem is I don't have much of a work history I get frustrated and quit most jobs because every boss/manager don't want somebody as smart as they are working for them or it's a company that simply cycles threw people which when I tell people this they just think your crazy oh that's not how it works people will treat you bad if you let them it's just in our nature we are just and extension of the animal kingdom which know one wants to except but be very glad your threw most of the crap of this thing called life

Wow! Praise God and Thank you Jesus. Bless her even more because she has encouraged me on today even more so with her Testimony. I'm Next and Amen!

Thank you Valerie god bless

I love your get up and go attitude; kep up the good fight and may God continue to bless you.

Sounds like your a people person as well as a giver (those that honor others while assisting ). There are numerous hospital and health care facilities that hire seasoned people, a person of great experience/time on the earth, to drive patients on a daily basis.
God Bless You

We're in the same boat, here I am 61 years old trying to compete against younger and much younger people but they are good workers and don't mind helping older co-workers, God Bless them !
Valerie,
As the adage say, "You are only as old as you feel." I commend you for what you are doing. I am caring for a family member at this time and it's like a full time job. Continue doing our Lord's work, it ain't over til' He calls us, comes back.
