Overjoyed and Elated
I've been having a rough time the last few months knowing that my contract end date was rapidly approaching at my current job. I have been putting in applications like crazy on several different sites, attending career fairs, reaching out to colleagues, and so on. Even doing all this seemed like a monumental waste of time and effort. But I'm just glad to say/share that I got an offer letter for a data scientist position this week, and I accepted the position. I'm only 23 so I'm hoping things just keep going up from here.
Moral of the story is just keep trying, and trying and trying! Good luck to everyone else out on the job search, and to everyone who left helpful advice to me prior to this.
