How can this happen?

Why do I need a degree if I already have experience? The cost of a college education keeps skyrocketing into the stratosphere but the education system continues to allow institutions like IIT to defraud students for years before being outed. The hype around a college education is just propaganda for big business. A degree is rarely needed to do good work! https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/grade-point/wp/2016/09/06/itt-technical-institutes-shut-down-after-50-years-in-operations/

I kinda have to disagree. I don't see how you could teach me English or Math if you didn't have a college degree. Maybe you work on my 2013 VW Jetta and don't replace my breaks in the correct form and I try to stop and kill people. You didn't get your ASE from a SCHOOL!!! So be careful when you go to see your doctor. Remember that he is treating you. Don't you want him to do a good job?? We can conclude that YOU don't want to go to school for the professions that requires a good EDUCATION...... I'm glade that I don't do labor and I do have a very good education...

Prospective students need to do their homework when picking a school. Everest College, DeVry, Brian&Staten........etc... are FOR PROFIT SCHOOLS..... The kids need to attend State University or State Community College or Technical Schools. I think it's just a case of buyer beware.

WOW, this school had the best commercials. Student testimonials about the graduation to work experience was very convincing.

I was actually approached by a recruiter for this school at a job fair in my town recently. He got a hold of my contact info and started blowing up my phone trying to get me to sign up for classes. These schools always try to hard sell students to enroll.

I saw some of that report on the news this morning and I think what's happening to those students is a shame. What makes matters worse is that the majority of students interviewed were minorities. Those loans should be forgiven.
