Finally found a job!
I have been reading here on Jobcase that sometimes we have to take a job that may not be what we wanted, but it is what we need right now. My daughter is the only one working. We are in a real financial tight spot. I have been applying online only to be ignored or ghosted. A few days ago I drove by a business where I used to work. They were hiring. I went in today and got immediately hired! Even if it is cold calling to set appointments and I really didn't want to do phone work, it is a paycheck with the opportunity to earn commissions! Thank you, Lord, and bless my fellow Jobcasers!
Unfortunately this telemarketin g job went bust. Job hunting again.

Your story is the same as mine so glad I read this yes my baby goes to work at 6am every morning school full-time and I have an interview on Thursday I'm hoping to get this job I do not want her to loose focus and fall down

Congrats, Pamela Hawkins - they are lucky to have you! I love your grit. Yes, sometimes we need to take the job we can get until we get the job we want. Now comes the hard part. You have 2 jobs now. The one you just accepted, and the activity to keep finding the job you want. Crush the job you just got so that you prove to them just how good you are. But, also keep looking for that job you want. This can be taxing but just pace yourself and I am sure you can do it. But def give yourself a night out to celebrate the progress you just made! Congrats. thrilled for you and can't wait to hear about your next success.
