Small company where I work is being taken over by a bigger company. The deal has already been finalized and the new company name is already on the building. Is this a good time to ask for a raise?

Look for job openings under the new company and apply for better paying jobs.

Listen to David. I tried doing that years ago and almost lost my job. I lucked out that my manager at the time never forwarded my request to HR. Give it more time.

Better to wait for all the dust to settle before asking for a raise. Layoffs are a common symptom after a merger. good luck
