What is the job? Performs advanced mechanical tests/special tests on samples and calibrates equipment, in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures, complying with defined quality standards. Job Duties and Responsibilities: •Calibrates and standardizes equipment. •Executes change over and set up of the machine. •Performs computerized machine operation. •Performs API and special customer mechanical tests such as Tensile, Charpy, Hardness or Fatigue tests. •Performs special tests such as Collapse and Blasting, Creep, Hardness, Residual or Laboratory tests. •Carries out inter-lab tests. •Coordinates activities with other functions. •Suggests next steps and notifies the responsible section when a test is out of specifications. •Carries out quality reports notifying the obtained results. •Follows up and conducts Third Parties Inspections (TPI). •Updates information in the tracking systems.

What is required by the job? •High school diploma or equivalent •5 years' industrial experience •Intermediate computer skills •CNC Experience preferred
