Would You Do This Job for $58,000 a Year?

Today I read about a guy in Australia whose job scuba dive into a tank of raw sewage and fix broken things at the bottom. Y'all he jumps into a tank of poo, diapers, bugs, and who knows what else for a living! My next question is how much money are they paying this man to do what I believe is the worse job in the world. I googled haz-mat diving which is technically what this job is called and they get paid on average...$58,000 a year! Talk about a crappy job.

Okay now which one of y'all would be willing to do this for $58K / year? Be honest!

In case you want to read the entire article about this man being a professional poo diver: https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/8gxjkx/professional-poo-diver

GM! I am working in the Gas & Oil Refineries, which is a very dangerous job! I am a Safety Attendant/Technician. Mainly responsible for testing the atmosphere of individuals entering inside of vessels ( confine spaces). I am in a Union, and have Journeymen, out in my field. Making between $35 - $36, per hour. So you weigh the matter.

Someone has to do it and he looks well protected to me. This is exactly why immigrants take on these jobs because pampered Americans will not. Then you all sit there bashing immigrants. Just listen to yourselves. Someone with no job will do what it takes to feed and provide for their families and will be happy to do so. A few years back when we were going through a recession I saw the President of a company I once worked for working at McDonalds. He was doing what he needed to do at the time. Guess none of you have had the rug pulled out from under you yet. Maybe if you did you would think differently. SMH.

I wouldn't do it. I've made that much as an executive assistant.

I do not want to read about it. I am a CPA with years and years of experience. One time in between jobs I talked to the old lady that runs 'Accountants and Bookkeepers Personnel'. She said it real fast - "Can you work for 8 an hour?" I did not understand her b/c she had sped up her speech considerably...so I asked - "Ma'am?" She then stated plainly - "Can you work for eight dollars an hour?" I told her plainly - "No, Ma'am. I can't walk across the street for eight dollars an hour." I am sick and tired of Accountants and Bookkeepers getting disrespected by those who do not have a snowball's chance in Hell of passing Accounting 101.

My dear departed Daddy was a very successful plumber. One of his more popular comments was, "Your s**t is my bread and butter."
However, he pulled in about $200k per year. Even today, when I smell a fart on the wind, the first thought that comes to my mind is "money". Lol.
