A family of five came in husband wife and three children. They made their order and when it was time to pay the gentleman card declined due to an error. He didn't have any other form of payment and his wife was a diabetic and so was the youngest child which was 4 years old, and I took the liberty to pay for their whole meal without expecting anything in return. Later on that night before we closed the gentleman came and repaid me with interest and told me thank you and that is when I found out that his wife and youngest child were diabetics.

Need more people like this. I used to always buy the people who I go to church with meals at the steakhouse i work for. Not a cheap meal by any means, but I found that the weeks, and months that I did, I had a lot less stress money wise. Also, I always try to pay for a mom and her kids food if they are by themselves. Husband/father or not, it's not easy being a mom in today's society, so that extra stress relief always helps.

"Treat others the way you'd like to be treated" is what you lived that day. You are truly kind and we are lucky to have people like you in our community.

Hi Clifford, you are so wonderful to do that for them and take the liberty to pay for their meal, when many would have turned a cold shoulder. I am sure that man can never thank you enough for what you did that day. It was so great of you to share this inspirational story of kindness ; )
