Dress for success

When in doubt, it’s better to overdress than underdress. Here’s a fun little study that supports the theory. In the end it has as much to do w your own confidence as anything. So when looking to that next interview, or just going to work Monday morning- pause and make sure you feel good about the way you present yourself. It just might help make the difference .... http://www.businessinsider.com/dressing-for-success-actually-works-2017-7

I totally agree, and believe it or not,but we as people do judge by what we see. I believe in dressing respectfully, and also having a standard about yourself. It'll take you a long way, presentation is EVERYTHING.

Not always true. In most professions yes, but not all. I work construction management. If you show up in a suit with polished shoes you won't even be invited to sit. Rule of thumb you need to mimic the outfit of the employees currently employees there. Subconsciously your showing your employer you belong.

Total agreement! First impressions are everything. It may not be right but is an unfortunate truth!

I couldn't agree more! Also, remember to iron and lay out those clothes the night before your interview so you are fresh and ready to go the next day. Thanks for sharing this great article and insight, Fred! : )
