2nd Interview--What to wear??
I have a 2nd interview with a great company. I was told by the hiring manager that she wnats me to meet the team so its not really an interview. WHat should I wear? for my first interview I wore a suit. Should I wear like a nice dress or should I go with another pants suit since its "really not an interview"?

I agree, it's better to overdress if you were not advised on what to wear. Quite frankly, I'm not too proud to just ask. If you are interviewing for an office job, dress business professional. If it's in a factory or working in a distribution center, business casual is usually the norm. I was interviewing for a professional position once, and was told to wear a suit. But everyone I met with (5 people at different times) were all wearing jeans, including the hiring manager and the VP of operations.

Always look professional you never know who could be watching you. Be prepared and have your 60 second commercial on point. Sell yourself.

You can never go wrong with a suit. Conservative is always a sure bet.

Let's be clear: It's always an interview. You want to put your best-self forward, so since you've been to the company once already, use your judgement about what to wear. If the environment seemed formal, then go with a skirt or dress; if it's business-casual, then pantsuit should be fine. Good luck & let us know what happens! Marijoy

Hi Jerline,
Your best bet is to always overdress. Even if you are interviewing/meeting with team that has a more "casual" dress code, dressing in professional business attire shows that you take the team, the role, and the company seriously.
If you want to switch up your outfit from your first interview attire, I suggest a nice dress or skirt with a blazer or sweater. Just remember that a business "appropriate" dress hem should be modest (below or slighting above the knee).
Good luck!!

Hi Jerline,
I think you should still wear something nice if you are meeting the team. It's always good to be overdressed. You can't go wrong with overdressed.
A suit is good if the company is relatively formal and the employees all wear dress shirts. Even if they are wearing casual clothes, I think you can still wear the suit to show that you are motivated, well-dressed, and interested in working there.
Always look your best formal or casual
