Substitute Teacher at Highlights

New to Healthcare field

Any suggestion for recent (2019) Healthcare graduate, 55+ who only received "externship" and "classroom" hands-on experience. What are my options in hospitals, etc.,? Most employers seem to request "EXPERIENCE"....HOW DO I GET IT, if not hired? Although am retired, still desire to work...not a "couch" potato.

Hi @Renee Payton , most companies and healthcare organizations include time spent in related classroom/field of study work as "entry level" experience. I also noticed that you have some transitional skill possibilities within your previous work experience in Education and Administrative Support. Don't forget to include those related skills in your resume and application profile.

UnitedHeath Group has solid entry-level career opportunities. Check out their career website for job options in your area. See link below for immediate access and review. https://www.uhc.com
