Social Worker-MSW Clinical Mental Health Education&School Social Worker
Hello Everyone, I am actively looking for a part-time job. I have all day Friday and Saturday available along with evening hours. I do not have the LSW, LCSW or CADC as of yet. I need a part-time job before I get any additional licenses. I am currently working Full-time. I have been spending a lot of time looking. I need someone to help me connect to employment.? There are too many applicants. I am looking in the northwest Suburbs of Chicago. Looking to start as soon I can?

Ms. Wheeler..... Come on now..... I hold a BSW and I had no trouble getting into social work. My niece got her BSW and MSW with only the ACSW and had no problems. First let's back up. You don't need but the ACSW, or the LCSW, and you've covered all thoes other acronyms. Now you may need to start thinking OUT OF STATE....... Sometimes the job don't come to you, but you'll be traveling to the job. Here's the draw back...... Social Work does not pay. I would know that because I did that job for a lil while. But do a nationwide job hunt for hospital social work and probation officer and see if you see the same thing that I see. You just gotta get out of your town like I had to when I started.
