I have been told so many different things from Florida's Unemployment and not to count the hours that I have been on hold waiting for a supervisor's help. I appealed and then advised to withdraw the appeal and just yesterday was told by a supervisor after waiting I needed to start appeal process again. I am going to work this week however I struggled the last few months and will fight to get my back payment. I can't count the times that they have hung up on me. Florida has a LONG WAY to go. Any advice? #advice

You can go to work if you have a job. But, you might need to get legal counsel about benefits, though. However, if you log onto UE...and you claim is still open. Keep filing, if the job is short term or temporary. You still need the help. They going to see that you went back to work. Have documentation.

I have had horrible experiences on the phone with dwd just trying to get someone to listen. I simply pushed the wrong option on my PUA application that lead to being ineligible. I have spent hours snd hours on job sights actively seeking employment. I was effected by covid 19 just like every one else in my family who are approved. This pandemic has turned my life upside down, I relapsed on drugs been arrested wrong place wrong yime and have literally lost my suv, and my home. I have filled out everything on time. Had to appeal my case and wasn't served the date snd they have it in correspondence history on mail returned RTS clearly I wasn't served this noticed but now my appeal was dismissed. I appealed the dismissal 5 weeks ago. Im terrified im going to keep making mistakes. What do i do how do i survive?

Reach out to your state representative. They can assist with escalating your claim.
