Quit or Die?
I had to resign from my last position in November due to 14 mos of relentless false slander, mobbing tactics and increased work place hostility. No matter who I spoke to, my direct supervisor, corporate director, or corporate HR, it always fell on deaf ears and their evasive tactic was always “Well it’s about perception.” I finally asked my corporate director “What if that perception is wrong?” At one point, without my knowledge, I was told that my then supervisor spoke to the “team” during morning standup during one of my days off, to “Knock it off! Cynthia is talented and the residents love her. No one’s going to fire her but me or if she wants to leave, and that’s not going to happen by me.” After that things appeared to quiet down. Then that boss resigned and a new inexperienced supervisor came in who allowed himself to be influenced by this “mob.” I lost all hope after that. Then it all started back up again with a vengeance. I began to get depressed and have insomnia. Every night leading up to November 17th, I began to wake up with panic attacts and my heart racing at 3 and 5 AM. The last straw was when a coworker strongly “suggested” that during a 3 week refurbishing of my office area, that “The AD (me) be put into maintenance directors office.” This was a 90 degree, 10x2 foot electrical closet housing every electrical component in the entire building. I opted for a healthier location but no one in authority responded.
I now have an open L&I claim for the physical work load that was placed upon me which was not in my job responsibilities at hire, and I’m on medication for the injury and resulting emotional distress, PSTD. How can I maneuver through an interview with having this sort of experience with this company? They always want to know if they can contact my previous employer.

If the potential new job doesn't have safety issues( receptionist, waitress, etc...) why not just tell them what occurred? Some employers do understand what we as employees go through.
With your PTSD, you should research work from home because something could trigger your diagnosis. Convergys. Com, Sykes, aetna, plus others on here you can read about!
