Work from home or a Telecommute ?

I have applied everywhere so I guess I am considering telecommuting or a work from home position ? I tried a couple of things and 1 was a Fraudulent deposit a check into a bank account and then be mystery shopper to write reviews. When I asked the bank to look into the check it was a fraud. then I had a couple that were, in the end, just selling a software package to work from home. Also, I had a offer of packages coming to your house and repacking but it seemed like a scam. Is there anyone who knows of a legitimate deal ?

Thank you both !!! I am shocked at how much competition for $ 10 and $12 a hr jobs there is now ??? I see people with a Master's Degree offered like $ 14 , I think it is crazy. This country is needing change in a hurry.

I was also almost burned by one of these job in the past too. Be very careful with those telecommuting job offers in your inbox. Do your research on the companies and do not forward any personal or financial information before qualifying each offer. The hiring process for work from home jobs is trick in most cases most of the interviewing and hiring is done virtually. Most fortune 500 companies offer some kind of telecommuting job opportunities. Fortune Magazine publishes a list of the top 100 companies for remote jobs every year. This link includes the top 100 companies identified this year. Take a look and check for companies operating in your area of interest, http://www.forbes.com/sites/laurashin/2016/01/27/work-from-home-in-2016-the-top-100-companies-for-remote-jobs/#54f6b6e236f0

Oh no Thomas, I'm so sorry to hear about those scams happening to you! I'm sure you already know this, but never cash a check for a third party, or submit any documentation to an employer without meeting them face-to-face. If you're looking for legitimate work from home opportunities, I'd check out sites like Arise.com, Guru.com, and Upwork.com.
