I worked at the front desk at Disney's Saratoga Springs. Here are some things you need to know.

They have excellent benefits: good cheap health, dental, vision, 401k, passes into the park, discounts on Disney merch (up to 50% during the holidays)

Florida and California employees get paid to carpool, take the bus/train, walk

The interview process can sometimes take awhile, at least it did for me. I submitted my application in January, interviewed in February and wasn't hired till March.

Looks good on a resume. EVERY employer will ask you about your experience there, trust me.

Layoffs do happen

Disney offered some paid classes (management, skills-based) but I didn't get to take any but my buddies did and they said they were good

Raises are once a year and are based on performance like every other job. If you need one sooner you just need to wait.

Just like any place else if you work hard and show that you are a valued part of the Disney team you'll be fine.

My best friend works for Disney. She likes it but she says it gets really, really hot sometimes.
