What to do when you have 3 years of call center experience?
Greetings,
I'm having great difficulties looking for a hourly pay / part time call center position or a more flexible full time schedule... Call centers absorb a lot of my time and it proves difficult to go back to school to finish my Bachelor's. Having 3 years of call center experience, I have no idea how to take it to the next level...
Cheers!

Well thats weird here in el paso there always hiring in call centers.alorica 15 dollars an hour.fred loya 19 an hour.i guess u have to look at the location

Try Apple.... they are starting At Home Advisors. Since you have call center experience, may be a good fit and it's a great company.

Try power companies

Victor,
I suggest that you look into work from call center work with a flexible schedule. There are many major companies that contain call center work that has gone remotely. This saves them a great bad of money due to a major cut down of overhead. Check out the remote position on job boards such as Indeed, Craigslist, Glassdoor etc. I know this to be a fact and receive tons of offers for work from home jobs just about every day!

I took a position at a call center that was in healthcare and I've jumped from that to a DME company and I work from home. Apply for entry level positions in a field that is growing in your area. I don't know where you live but I'm in Salt Lake City Utah and our unemployment is 3.1% and you can get a job at any call center you want! Good Luck! Caroline

Tell your next interview what you are trying to do with your life. Keep going for that Bachelors. Make sure your resume tells your experience and you also are working for YOUR DEGREE. You would be even more valuable to them if they give you. Slack for YOUR DEGREE.

I have an interview for Wells Fargo for a Financial Crimes Specialist Level 2 position so I hope it goes well. I am seriously considering virtual work but don't have the capital right now to make my room soundproof. Checking other sectors may help; thank you all for your suggestions!

Have you tried Arise or Liveops? Both are top of the line professional platforms,. "Work From Home"

Your call center experience is also business/corporate america experience. If you broaden your searches to business related or customer service related jobs, all kinds of doors open. Also, I have a ton of experience working in call centers - after the 3 year mark of working as a representative, you now possess the credentials to apply for team lead and/or supervisory capacity positions. Also try for section manager and quality assurance/call-center analyst positions. Best of luck !
For those of you who go into an interview and leave disappointed think about this. READ ABOUT the company . Learn about the company before you go for the interview. Tell the company how you can do this or that for them. Get the company's histories so you don't go in empty headed of the real job you may be doing for them. Show interest in the interviewer and the company. You show some extra research on the company they know you are truly interested in the company. Don't ask them what they want you to do for them. Tell them what you may be able to do for them.. Show you are really interested in working for them. Dress according to the type of job you are applying for. Trending fashion is not always going to get you the job. Jeans are trendy but not sloppy jeansand distressed with large holes in jeans. That trendy dress shows you are not looking to become a professional employee. Some companies issue a weekly dress memo that tells you what they want you to wear on certain days. Ask the interviewer if the company has a dress code.
