what is your monthly nut(expenses)? I started my sole prop because couldn't pass a piss test! Stop thinking job! I could hang a shingle with your name on it and you will start working tomorrow!

What degrees or education do you have? Are there any empty timelines in your work history. A lot of companies will promote from within and hire someone at the bottom. You might continue to struggle getting a job at the top unless your up to date on experience and certifications.

Yes that is really frustrating, wish I had a great answer. I spent last 14 months unemployed, close to 700 job submits and about 2/3rds of them I never hear a peep from. Not so much as a thank you, were impressed but moving on to another candidate email. I think most companies just don't have the manpower to give a reply. Some of them post a response only on their career page status board. For me-- if I do not hear back from a company/job submit-- after 2 or 3 months I never submit myself to any other opens that they have. If they cant or wont respond or give me some feedback- then why would I want to work for said company?... And some of them are very large well known business here locally, which is very baffling, one in particular my son/law works for- he got his job by networking with ppl he knew... I tried using his name on several submits- he got notified & agreed that he recommended me-- and yet,, I STILL did not receive a response....... I just think that is down right rude & inconsiderate. And forget about trying to call them-- I did several companies & was told-- not to do that...

It takes a lot of patience. Knowing that you're not the only one who is looking for a job and the companies are looking through a great big pile of applications and if and when they get to yours, and it is what they are looking for, then I'm sure they will give you a call. You should rely on God and ask him to open a door for you and then you will get the right job out all the applications that you have submitted. Also, use key words like dedicated, motivated, and skilled.

Im a convicted felon and no one wants to hire convicts which I feel is discrimination. People are trying to better themselves and make a life in society and society keeps knocking us down. I don't understand
