Really Wished that the Jobcase Forum Existed a lot Earlier
I just wanted to state that I wish this forum would have existed back in the 1990's as I constantly had to deal with layoffs, relocations and putting my life on hold, as I have found this forum to offer excellent opinions and insights from the community. The past is the past, and for anybody that is struggling like I had, there is a light at the end of the tunnel, and to merely concentrate on the present and the future. I request for those that respond, to not include anything with religion and just base everything on your previous experiences. Thank you.

Agreed with everything you said this definitely improves the process.

Glad to hear this community is helping you. This is a great place to find support during the tough times.

It's so nice to have you here with us in the community David!! : )

It's this kind of post that really helps keep spirits up - and half the battle is realizing you're not alone. Thanks for posting, David!

I don't think, technology wise, we were in a space back in the early 90's to support this type of platform but I get your point. Career management is hard and a supportive community is helpful. The hiring process was also more straight forward back then. Walkin applications and interviews were still prominent.
Good Luck! If you like what I post on my page, and you think a selected few of your friends would benefit from some of these things, Most this on your page and let me see if they fit the profile for my selection of posts.
