I recently replied to a continuing ad for UPS workers in Las Vegas and was immediately hired. The ad is still running and two other people I know were also hired right away. Here's the problem ... I went to a week of orientation, three hours a night for five nights, then worked 11 hours the following week. Not another minute of work since then. That was five weeks ago. I checked in repeatedly with my supervisor for my next work, once a day, until he told me he would tell me when they needed me again. I had to ask repeated for my paychecks and was finally given the 11 hour check but not the other one. They just say check back if you don't get it in another week. They say I did great in training and work and said they want to move me up quickly to driver and management due to my Marine Intel training. But still no hours and pay is missing. Has anyone else experienced this?
