I know I'm "over the hill "
Ever since I had to leave a good job in Gainesville, FL, to move here, Jacksonville, FL, in 2011, I have not found a job. Until recently, I have found Career Source. I go everyday I can. I sit at the computer and search for employment. I have filled out applications, submitted my Resume, and still no job. I am a 'jack of trade, a master of none'. 3/4 of my working years, I have been behind a desk. I have worked with government agencies and in the private sector. I may be a little behind times, but I am a fast learner. I am not afraid of the computer. I have been trained in the basics and then some. I have been looking into the clerical/administrative /office areas. I have a lot to offer. I even have my sense of humor. Can you help me? Thank you, Jo-Ann

Good luck J Ann ..Ageisim is real out there in the work force. Most looking for young faces..good luck
Never admit your age or any lack of technical experience. People discriminate against older workers wit the assumption that they cant handle technology and will have health issues (ie. health insurance costs and absence for illness). Dont go back further than 10 years on your resume, dont include dates that you finished school, and include the name of some tech courses that you took - even if it is a free online course.
