I responded to a job through a job placement agency The agency set the interview up for me and I even called to confirm the date. I drove to the interview, it was an unfamiliar area/city to me. When I arrived, they doctor, she was the one who was to interview me acted as if she did not set up the interview. She could not see me because she was with a patient. Then when I asked if she was hiring she hesitated and acted as if she was in no hurry. I think this was very unprofessional. She should have asked me to wait and interviewed me since I spent my time to be there.

Unfortunately companies have the option to do this. Given the demeanor of the doctor you probably wouldn't want to work there. Hang in there and keep in faith that God will bring you great blessings.

Yes I agree when someone takes the time to go to an interview that shows you want the job and she could have gave you a fair chance.

What type of warehouse job is it

When you called to confirm the interview did confirm with the agency or with the doctor? If it was the agency I would go through a different agency.

I would contact the authorities in this matter. It seem a very shady operation of some kind.

thank you for your cooperation offer your customers

This is unfair to the person who drove down all the way for the interview but this is reality as well. So all we as job seekers can do is move op and hope that the next one will be the one for us. All the best for your future interview dear... :)

This doesn't sound like a good place to work. I would tell the job placement service what happened and have them find you some place else to work.

Wow! Unbelievable how unprofessional companies are today. I am sorry you had to go through a situation like that. It's hard enough to be without a job and having to drive a to an unfamiliar area, waste gas and your valuable time all for what?? Just hang in there, things will get better. Keep the faith. God bless!
Sorry, unfortunately, I have experienced the same. IT MAY HAVE BEEN SOMETHING PERSONAL BETWEEN THE TWO, RECRUITER AND DOCTOR. PERHAPS MISCOMMUNICATION. WHO KNOWS, THEY MAY HAVE JUST DECIDED AGAINST THE INTERVIEW. THE MIND WILL MAKE THE MOUTH SAY ANYTHING. ONE MAY NEVER KNOW FOR SURE. Me, personally, I would not waste more time with THAT recruiter. Depending on how I feel, I would send the doctor a cordially brief email, reminding her of me and the referral, also reason why I was in her office. Is the the position, indeed, available? Don't dwell on it. Keep seeking elsewhere. Good Luck
