Money is tight. I don't know whether I should ask for a raise or just get another job. I don't have enough money to keep me up for two weeks with a car payment due and insurance .

Hi Jordan: That's a good question! I would suggest to speak to your manager about a raise first before searching for a job. Just be sure to show how much you have grown in the company you work for.

Hi Jordan: One of the best ways to make more money is to take this approach: talk to your manager about potentially getting a raise, and at the same time, look for new work. If your manager doesn’t give you the raise, you can always see if you make more at another company. Remember to show proof why you’re worth the raise. Talk about how successful you’ve been and how you’ve helped the company grow!
