Dental Assistant
Do you train people to be dental assistants? I was training to be a dental assistant at New Horizons dental clinic for the past 2 months, when I was let go a week ago. I was working at their 2nd clinic in South East when I was told that they no longer needed me and had to let me go. I was just beginning to learn things and I really liked it. Most of the time I only got to see extractions and fillings. I always came to work every day, never got wrote up, they were even going to pay for my cray class. I'm not even sure why I was even let go, but I liked the job and would love if someone would please give me another chance because none of the colleges around here have a dental assistant course.
Based on their office hours, I would recommend call back between 2:30-3pm. If you get a voicemail again, leave a message with having a a couple questions in regard to the position of interest. Once you get a hold of her, that's when you can ask the questions about training and give a brief summary of your interest of the position. Practice what you are going to say first.
