Call the authorities and a good lawyer you have a good case but dont wait too long which is what the company wants the more time has gone by the less people and witnesses remember

The company that terminated you can be sued for wrongful termination. Get a lawyer and call the police if you were assaulted.

Go to the Police personally and report it. Keep a copy of the police report you made.As long as it's in writing you have proof. ** Watch Judge Judy shows**

Manager Corporate Liaison

Based on Michelle Danielle's response to Texxgadget, are you talking about a sexual or physical assault? I get the feeling it's a physical assault. Anyone placing their hands on you or spitting on you is considered assault. I'll describe a situation that involved my wife. She worked for a sleep lab that was a private company hired by a hospital to perform this function. Initially it was a part-time job and they were trying to woo her to leave her full-time job & come work for them. They would fire their manager and put her in charge. She refused to take a job at the expense of another individual's. They final agreed to wait until the start of the fiscal year & hire her. She was happy to escape rampant sexual harassment at her previous job, so she eventually left. They were beyond happy with her productivity and that she showed them you could actually bill insurance the day following a sleep study and not six months later when they finally got around to scoring their backlog of studies. Their cash flow improved immeasurably. Being a small, family owned lab, they did not have item such as adjustable office chairs or desks that could be lowered (desks were Home Depot kitchen counters mounted on the wall) for a short person. Soon, someone who worked 8 hours straight without a break, eating lunch at her desk (her choice) she began to suffer serious back pain that would keep her up at night. She began to ask the owner for an incident report to document her pain in case it developed into something much more serious. The owner ignored her. She asked again & again, no response. Weeks of being ignored, she was talking to the hospital Administrator responsible for the sleep lab and out patient physical therapy in a common area by the restrooms. The sleep lab owner saw this and lost it. She went and grabbed my wife by her hair & arm and physically pulled her back to the sleep lab while screaming at the top of her lungs you are not to speak to anyone in adminstration. The therapy area fell silent as all eyes were on the crazy woman. The administrator turned beet red. My wife was aghast. She picked up her purse and walked out & called me. I told her to return, call the police and report that you were physically assaulted and needed an officer now to document your injuries. The police arrived and took witness statements. The manager was angry at the owner and angry at my wife. My wife sat her down and told her they offered me your job over a year ago. That's their loyalty. I told them no, I had a job and wasn't taking a job at your expense. The administrator went to Legal and push the nuclear destruct clause in their contract. He had them out the next day. The lab ownership husband negotiated a new company stepping in and keeping both him and his wife in management role. But, this was a real business. They had daily phone conferences with action items assigned that the wife didn't have a clue how to do. She could no longer withdraw company funds and go to the casino during the work day. My wife, worker's compensation came in, observed her working, observed everyone working and freaked that it was an injury factory. They were educated how the arms, elbows back, legs & feet should be positioned. My wife was sent to physical therapy. The former owner accused my wife of insurance fraud, that she had been in an auto accident but was blaming her injuries on her employer. We gladly turned over our insurance records. My wife was in the left turn lane with the green arrow. Another driver cut her off. Our damage was a scratch to the clear coat on our SUV. The other driver in a KIA claimed 25% permanent disability that our policy paid out on although my wife was not ticketed or found a percentage at fault. We found out later the day the previous owner assaulted my wife, she had been in court for mortgage foreclosure, attempting to hold onto their McMansion. She took her anger and rage out on my wife. My wife's assault claim lead to an appearance before a judge a finding of guilt and a sentence of community service. The wife was soon fired by the new ownership. She had no clue what they were talking about on the daily conference calls or how to perform the tasks assigned to her. The husband was retained since he was a equipment/insurance expert. Long story short: never stand for anyone laying a finger on you without your permission. Touching you, spitting on you are all considered assault. Don't fight back. Don't throw a punch. Call the police.

Its still against the law for them to tell you that and if they fire you, you can sue. If he gets convicted, he wont be able to work in security anymore. In fact if the director of security assaulted you, and said director is the one who made the threat, thats "Intimidating a witness to a crime" which is ANOTHER crime.

If you stay quiet like they want you to, this jerk will probably assault someone else. Have you been following the recent Weinstein case ?

Even if hes head of security, you can still go to the cops. If the cops buddy up with him because hes security, you have a problem with your local police and need to go up a level. In fact that makes the local cops accessories to the original crime.

Find a lawyer you can trust and chat with them. You might be looking at 8 digits.

Its against the law for them to tell you NOT to call the cops. If they fire you for calling the cops, you have a nice lawsuit for them.
