I hate my job

I hate my job not what I do but the people who I work with, so rude and always in everyone's business. But I have to stay there cause I need the money :( I'm looking for another job so bad. I can't believe that there's company out there that won't hire you cause you live in another city. I'm a responsible person always on time. I really hope I could find something else soon.

Do not allow yourself to be lulled into complacency by the masses who believe mediocrity is an acceptable alternative. Focus on the possibilities for success, not the potential for failure. When you doubt yourself, talk the situation over with a positive, supportive friend. Everyone needs a boost now and again; make sure your friends are positive, success-oriented people who always build you up, not negative thinkers who always seem to find a way to tear you down. Never mind what others didn’t do. It’s what you do that counts. You can’t control others’ acts, but you can control your reaction to their acts, and that is what counts most to you.

Yes. People or co-workers can be shallow and hateful and judgmental. Best thing to do is don't get into conversation or gossip. Stay to yourself. And start posting your resume like on Indeed or Craigslist. Good luck.

I'm sorry Lissette! It's like that every where you go. No matter what type of work you do. People can't keep their nose out of your business, or keep their opinions to themselves. Good luck babe, and pray on it.

Lissette, if you have already spoken to your supervisor and or HR, just ignore them until you are sure you have another job. Stay professional and keep doing your job and then give notice when you find something else. You have got to watch THE SECRET! It's on NetFlix now. It will literally turn your life around. Ask God to lead you in the right direction and he most assuredly will, Good luck and God Bless you!

I have been in the same situation, and I really honestly feel for you,.as hard as it can be stay out of the drama, don't stoop to their level. If the environment becomes hostile then make a formal complaint to HR, if HR doesn't address the situation immediately then assume nothing is going to be done . Normally in most break rooms there is a poster that talks about employees rights and the obligation of the employer, one of the things mentioned is hostile work environments, their should also be some contact information on that poster, the poster is easy to identify because at the top of the poster the minimum wage amount is printed on the top of the poster. In regards to the rude employees, the first time someone speaks to you with disrespect, in a calm professional tone, state that you don't appreciate being spoken too in that manner,. If you don't say anything it's only going to get worse, once someone feels they can talk to you disrespectful they will continue. Good luck, and stay strong, don't loose your cool, I know it's hard, but stay professional.
