That sounds like a really frustrating experience, especially with kids depending on you. You're getting as far as interviews, so you know they think you could be a good employee. What are you interviewing for? Do you have a friend you can practice interviewing with - or get your daughters to ask you questions and practice answering!

Hi Brandon! Getting a job with a disability is often difficult, especially if you need an employer who will be flexible and provide your with accommodations during work time. Sometimes employers are hesitant to take that risk, however the ADA is pretty clear that those with certain disabilities, like severe PTSD, should be protected from such discrimination. There are also sites geared toward helping veterans seek job, like RecruitMilitary, which would be a great way to seek out employment after retiring from military service. Good luck with your search, Brandon!

Hi Brandon! Thank you for your service. Your girls are so lucky to have such a wonderful dad ; ) I am so sorry to hear that you are experiencing a difficult time. It is against the law for an employer to discriminate against you based on your needs. Are you making sure to [follow up] (https://www.jobcase.com/conversations/3a2695c7-ced7-5bea-af4e-8789f758e97b) after each interview? Being proactive about that is very important! Perhaps you are interested in [working from home] (https://www.jobcase.com/conversations/36571252-e6b3-53b0-91a0-5ba8fbe865f7). You could check out those jobs! Please let us know how else we can help. We are so glad to have you here in the community Brandon.
