Not sure why???

I've got over 30 applications and or resumes out around Las Cruces NM and a month and a half later still not working. A lot of the places I applied to never called me for an interview. The two that did offered me low wages of 8.40 & 9.50. I just don't understand. Is there something wrong with my resume? I just don't understand.

Maybe you need to update your resume and add details to the job. Also specific words can be changed out to make your resume stands out. Also i know there is not much out in nm. Maybe move to another state. I hope this helps. You can go online to find the right words that the machines they use look for.

I think I just realized that you guys can't see my resume. So that's not going to help me much. I think my resume is full of good info, but not sure with my current situation.

I'm sorry. Of course now I can see the other posts and your response. So I didn't bring anything new to the conversation. Good luck with your search.

I can't see any of the others posts so I don't know if they have covered this.... Have you had someone proofread the resume? Maybe it needs an update? Since that's how they decide who to contact for interviews, that's where I'd start.

Have a look at my resume. You tell me if you see something that would stop an employer from talking to me further.

Have you heard the phrase "The barking dog gets the bone"? Sometimes, a little initiative can boost some numbers. Don't be afraid to reach out if it's been a while with a prod. What's the worst that could happen, they keep not talking to you?

I recommend, if you have the name of the HR person and have been in contact, following up on an application with a personal email about a week afterwards if there is no noise.

A simple "Hey, thanks for the opportunity to apply. Again, my name is XX XX and I've attached my resume again as a refresher" can do wonders.

Not sure what their email is but still want to try? go for the Hail Mary: "[first name].[last name]@[company].com" and pray you make it through their server settings!
