Need help
I have uploaded a resume on job case and, indeed and i,am not getting a lot of interest from employers. What's wrong with my resume or is it just not profesional enough. Is it worded wrong or something else? I am in dire need of a job to to support my family and fear I am running out of time due to bills piling up and savings almost gone.

Hi Jeffrey,
Thanks for joining Jobcase! Your resume looks pretty good, which makes me wonder what type of positions you're applying to? There might be some advice we can give if we know more about your search. :)
Are you applying and not getting a response? I'd recommend tailoring your resume to the job, including letting employers know you're flexible about your work schedule/travel, etc. Are you having trouble finding positions you're interested in? Let's talk about changing your search.
Also - what sources are you using to network? Have you tried reaching out to people to set up informational interviews? And followed up with a Thank You and asking for someone else they can recommend you can talk to?
It's lots of work, but will pay off... the main thing is to KEEP GOING!
Feel free to give us more info & we'll try to give more helpful tips. :)
Thanks, Marijoy

Hi Jeffery, Your resume shows good leadership experience but it shows your presently working in at 2 companies (Genesis Health & HealthCare Services Group) and still going to school at Kentucky Technical. You may also have to customize your resume to fit the specific skills for the job your applying for. You have some management, workforce operations, environmental planning/maintenance, technical operations, retail, and sales. Recruiters at a glance of your resume (6 second rule) will not be able to fit you into a specific role based your current resume layout. This article offers some quick tips -http://www.workcoachcafe.com/2014/04/08/customize-your-resume/ What kind of job are you looking for??

Hi Jeffrey, Your work experience and your accomplishments are very impressive! The main note I have for you is to just tweak the formatting a bit (specifically in your current role summary) so that your resume is more fluid to read. Also, make sure to capitalize all of your former companies and positions held in your work experience section.
Good luck! Jen

Hey Jeffrey,
If you think your resume needs work, read this article about how to fix it:

If you think your resume is not getting into the hands of an employer, read this article about how to beat the Applicant Tracking System (ATS):

Hi Jeffrey: The problem is not your resume . It is with Taleo / Oracle, that filters the applications and if the distance distance from where you live to the place you are applying to does not fit, you are out. If the requirements do not fit their criteria you are out. This is the major challenge with the ATS systems.
Hi Jeff have you made any of these changes to your resume so far? If so, have you experienced any interest from employers as a result? I'm also looking for good resume suggestions. Thanks
