Stay at home mom trying to get back into the work force
I’ve been a stay at home mom for 10 plus years now, and now that my children are no longer needing me at home I have been trying to get a part time job just about anywhere at this point because for some reason the 1,000s of job applications I have submitted in the last year not one interview not one response back from anyone! I have really excellent job skills but nobody seems to want to even talk to me after seeing my resume and application I am beginning to think I may never be able to get back into the work force! I’m very discouraged!

Never give up on faith, prayers do work, you need to gi on a fasten and prayer for thirty days and believing with all your mind, body and soul, also receive it. ..Also child care provider, hotels, nursing homes, stay there for three years, make sure to be reliable, punctual, responsible and always on time, 15 minutes earlier than your schedule... Then get yourself something better. You could do it, the devil is a liar. Lol where it's a will, its always a way.

Are you a decent typist? If you are, you may benefit from working at home. Check out the hundreds of opportunities online. I signed up with TranscribeMe! (a website for transcriptionists). The one skill you need is to be a very good typist (and anyone who can type at least 50 wpm) will do very well here... So, check it out. If it's for you, they'll be in touch very shortly. Only problem for me was that I could not find a single job listed, but that was a glitch of some sort.

Amanda, where do you live now?

I have same problem

Yes...

Could you work full time?

Put it in the Lord Jesus hands and he will work it out for you. Give it to Jesus.

Although that 10 yrs gap is a pretty big hole, it also depends on what you’re looking for. I’m currently unemployed after almost 18 yrs with the same company and I can speak from experience “jobs” are out there depending on where you live. Now if you ask me about good paying jobs in your area of expertise, that may be an entirely different question but don’t give up nor allow discouragement to take over. Will it try to? You bet and I have my bad days too but I know in the end I’ll find something that’s right for me and I know you will too!

I understand. I'm in that same position rite now. I've been out of wrk for about 6yrs for the same reason. I put in applications and no response. They say send a more updated resume and I send the same one. Just have Faith and God will make something happen to meet your household needs. Just keep praying and pushing and something will open up for you.
Ms. Amanda: PAY ATTENTION AND READ THIS NOW! Do you know the woman in the picture below? She is Ronda Rousey. Former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion. She's seen more hard times in the fighting ring than the average person falling down in a skating ring. Case and point, she didn't give up when the chips were down, rather, she fought her way back to the top! The struggles in life can be like a FIGHT. Therefore, YOU MUST STAND-FIGHT AND WIN! You DON'T GIVE UP, rather, you GET UP and look in the mirror at yourself, and SHAKE IT OFF. Because like Ronda, YOU ARE A CHAMPION! ACTION REQUIRED: #1. Get up. #2. Keep this picture close. #3. Get that rhythm and resume together. #4. Each morning say to yourself..."I Am A Champion" and "I Am A Winner," and "I Won't Give Up, I Won't Give In!!" P.S.
