They say threes a Charm..
This is my third time applying to Home Depot, the first two times I went to all the interview did really well and got offered the positions I applied for and how much I was starting off with. Now the problem is getting in contact with the managers, the first time I had to apply to the cashier position so I can start my background check; she gave me her card just in case I have trouble. Now I had applied and was letting her know, I couldn’t reach her. The second time I got an interview for the cashier position for part time once again everything went well. The problem was reaching her again because the guy who interviewed me wanted her so she can tell me about my background check and when can I start, once again couldn’t reach her. So this time I applied to two different ones, now if anybody worked there was it this hard getting in contact with the managers or is it a normal thing?

You should be able to get in touch with the HR. I would reach out to HR not the person that interviewed you.

Is there something in your background check that is negative? Because if there is, that may be the issue. This is the 2nd post I've read of yours where your contact with the hiring managers stops at background check, so it seems to be a common denominator. I am not condoning these people blowing you off because it is unprofessional on their part, however you have to consider where the source of the problem is. If I am wrong, then I apologize. You definitely need to try to place yourself in front of someone at this point in order to get answers. Or, move on and try elsewhere. Good luck!

Hi Ja'Meer And Jourdyn I am so sorry you experienced that, what a pain! Sadly not all stores are created the same and in this case, it sounds like it was the manager that was unprofessional. I would make sure to follow up with them in person and if you can't find another Home Depot near your home you could try and apply to Lowe's or another business. Don't give up!!
Hardly to get into job
