Marine Corps Veteran

Good Afternoon Ladies and Gentelmen,

I seperated from the Marine Corps 2 years ago. I was a Embarkation and Logistics Specialist. A month after I got out, i obtained a job as a dispatcher for G2 secure staff but school was to start 4 months later. I informed my job on the first day that school was starting in Jan so they understood. I went to school for a year full time for logistics management. Recently i just had a daughter so that put a halt on school because I wanted to be there every day for my daughter. Now she is almost walking and i am ready to work. I need purpose again. Who will hire a veteran with such a work gap? It's been hard.

Mr. Henderson look there are going to be some pain with this because you did in fact stop working. Now going to school is just as big of a commitment as your child. But if you plan on making a go of it you'll need to stop the excuses of family and whatever else and just go to school. Mr. Mom and stay home to take care of child don't get it. There are countless numbers of parents on job case attendees of school now reading this. It's going to be hard, sometimes difficult and very challenging for you to complete. But you were part of AMERICA'S BEST.... You were a Marine. Stop the excuses of baby sitting and time with my child. Before long she'll be on her way to college and you'll be still trying to get your first degree. Now are we understanding this?? When you apply for work remember that you gotta balance time for study, work and Family. But I am telling you that most of the job case women got their BS, BA, or I've seen one or two say that they graduated MASTERS with children. It can be done.

Deshan - make sure you include time you were at home taking care of your baby. You are basically working as a caregiver doing that. It's not a lack of experience! it take a lot of work to do that.
