When should I submit recommendation letters? I’m in the process of applying for a telecom installation tech but I don’t see an area where I can include reference letters I’ve accumulated from previous employers. The reference information on the application ask for name, phone number, and email address. What’s the proper protocol with reference letters? The letters are very well written and I think they can help improve my chances to get hired if I can find a way to position them in front of recruiters.

I would attach them to my resume that way you don't have to wait for an interview to get them in front of an employer.

Lynn, I think letters of recommendation are great things to bring to an in-person interview with a hiring manager. When speaking about your past roles you can mention that you've received letters of recommendation from your previous employers. Let them know you have brought those letters with you and ask if the hiring manager would like to see them. Good Luck!

I'll take the references letters to the interview and hand them to the interviewer along with my resume.
