I'm 72 now and...
I have been doing graphic design when the work comes. I have a relatively small Social Security benefit so I have to supplement... and pray alot! Fortunately I am up to date on all bills but I do not know where the next house payment is coming from. I have applied to dozens of recruiters and companies but have had no responses from these so-called "hiring" companies. I can only work part-time and I have tried to be flexible in work hours so businesses will know I am willing to work. I worked at SCTray for 22 years as the first graphic artist where I was trained on the Mac and Adobe graphic software... I am still using it at home. I am paying a monthly fee for the use of it. Does anyone hear me? Robert

Robert - congratulations on 72! and the accomplishments of life! Have you contacted AARP,, they have a SR's Mentor program - you could mentor or perhaps work for them.

Hi, Have you tried churches and non-profit organizations? They are more willing to work with the elderly population. You can call local churches and non-profits in your area and set up a monthly fee for their graphics need. I think you would find this way profitable.

go to the office of the aging for help or call the attorney general for advise

You can sell some of your graphics designs and work online as well. You can license the graphic parts out. Do a youTube channel to teach and make a presence.

Robert I need some graphics done for a children's story can you do that kind of graphics, not complicated but need to be of high quality.

Robert- are you in the Denver area? I need help updating my Adobe graphics skills. I am 68 and have been away from graphic design work for about 5 years.I can relate to your situation. If you're in the area, I'm looking for a tutor, and I'm sure there are plenty of people looking for someone for in-person, one-on-one tutoring. If you're not in Denver, look up "computer graphics tutoring online"- you could probably get on staff at one of the schools that offers online tutoring, and work with clients all over the country. Please contact me and let me know how things are going and where you're located. Wishing you the best, Mary T.

At 72 stop panicking to work it's a simple equation find young and energetic people equip them with what you know then organise them evenly they will work what you would have done. Stop working hard now work smart

Think out side the box. You can teach.

Yes Robert I hear you and God bless you in Jesus name in your situation and with your finances. I've prayed to Jesus that you find a job that suits you perfectly Robert. The Lord will provide as he judges the thoughts and intentions of the heart and if those are pleasing to him you'll be working soon.
Hi Robert. I would love to chat with you about how to scale up your services by transitioning into web design. Much higher spend per client with the same amount of time and effort, or less
