Good Morning fellow all things disability followers!!! It is a Hot, muggy day in Indiana...; makes everything hurt worse in my experience.. BUT... it is a new day, and there are jobs somewhere out there for each and everyone of us. Stay positive, focused, and don;t let yourself get too negative about yourself .... it is not productive, and it is unhealthly..... and God knows we know about poor health... Smile, laugh, sing, of cry if you have too... but, do not take yourself down today..... Take care to all...

Most all employers aren't remotely interested in interviewing, much less hiring someone like me. To them we are obsolete, out of touch, worthless with absolutely nothing to offer. Sorry situation!

Rayborn, Hang in there, and listen to all the words fellow disabled members are providing for you. I am not certain the details of your disability, but there is something out there for you. You show great initiative by seeking help in and of itself. Take care, don't lose faith, and keep trying. Everyone has good/bad days, and even good/bad weeks. Don't despair,... and do not lose faith in yourself.

Rayborn, do you have any specific job you are looking for?
In general, employers are looking for someone that will solve their problem / fill a need. So, when applying for a job it's better to be specific on how you can can add value.
For example, when applying for construction job, instead of saying "I am hard worker" say, "I am skilled with power tools, brick laying..."

Hi Rayborn:
Hang in there! Staying motivated is such a crucial part to finding the right job. Keep applying for two to three jobs per day; eventually, you'll start getting interviews, one of which will turn into the job you're looking for.
Start your job search on Jobcase by clicking the Jobs button and entering the job you want. You'll see a list of employers who are hiring in your area. You can apply by clicking on the job title and following the instructions.
Best of luck!
