Hi Vincent, Being nervous in an interview is VERY common, so you're not alone. I get nervous every time I interview, and I interview people for a living! I think one of the best ways to avoid, or decrease your nervousness is in the preparation. Before every interview I always do the following:

  1. Know each person I'm interviewing with and what their role in the business is
  2. Do as much research as possible on the company/business
  3. Have questions prepared to ask the interviewers
  4. Have clean copies of my resume printed and in my bag ready to bring with me
  5. Do a run through on the route to get to the company to make sure I've planned accordingly
  6. Have my notebook and pen in my bag ready to take with me for notes I think being prepared can be one of the best ways to set yourself up for success in interviews. It tends to lessen my nerves every time! Best of luck and don't forget to smile!
