Well I have a lot of this at my old job. Are new let's say less than six months then I say try to hang in there maybe look on your day's off . If you been there longer than six months to your boss or his tell one of them what up ie asks then if you can't get it well look for a job on your day's off

Darcie, I can sense the amount of stress you're experiencing in your message. Jobs are always evolving and managers have the responsibility to shift resources into different capacities and schedules where they determine employees will make a good fit and execute the tasks and responsibilities needed to satisfy the day to day operations. That's their job. As an employee, your responsibility is to comply with the work standards and conditions set by the manager and execute your assigned tasks within a reasonable level of convenience, settlement, and/or compromise. If this employee/employer agreement begins to shift into a hight level of inconvenience then you and management must collaborate and map out a plan to bring that relationship back to an agreeable level. You need to ask management specifically what you need to do to get a first shift schedule. If they can't provide a clear direction on how you can reach that goal then you know it's time to move on. Any job that starts to affect our personal home lives is not worth having.
