Given Bad References by my former employer

I've been looking for a job since October went on several interviews and did really well but I suspect my former employer whom I am in a discrimination lawsuit is giving me bad references. I can't prove it but they are behind the rejections. Not sure what if I can do anything about it.

Do over your resume and delete him or that company as an employer, use someone else you can trust to fill that gap

It's crazy to think someone who is supposed to be a mature adult would do such a thing but, nothing uncommon. Your abilities to work n do your job should be the only thing other employers are concerned about.

I don't think there's much you can do except try to find an employer who will be understanding about your situation. There are plenty of people who end up getting jobs without references or with checkered pasts with other employers. Keep going ahead and just do your best to impress in that interview to the point where the people interviewing you couldn't possibly see any truth in what your former employer is saying.
