With all that is taking place in the U.S. do to the COVID-19 virus, I thought I would share some personal thoughts with you!
Thinking Out Loud! During the past few days while working, I took notice to a few things taking place during my time at work. It started out with me checking in and seeing how co-workers are stressing out over things they would normally not do? As we began our shift questions were being asked and few answers being giving. What happens if I get it? Family members being sick? How can I work and take care of my kids? We are powerless of over things we have no control over? As a single dad I will say I am blessed to have family support and this is a key to a healthy relationship I try to maintain on a daily basis. Although not easy to do sometimes I try my best to show appreciation to not just my family but everyone I come into contact with on a daily basis. A simple Thank you! Can go a long way in this human world we live in? Understanding we are all facing these uncertain times in our live one never expects to face? It is also a time for all of us to catch up on family time? Show support when you can and appreciation for the simple things in life. What are you doing to cope with the things happening in your life? Are you taking time for yourself to keep a healthy lifestyle balance? This is important for each us to do? One of the things that I am thinking about right now is the people in Nursing Homes. They are not allowed to have visitors at the present time. Being in a nursing home during these times makes it even harder for the residents to deal with on a daily basis. Sunday morning when working I put on my christen services for the residents to watch. This was something I thought about at the time when listening to the residents as they were eating breakfast and I noticed some were sad others scared and me feeling sorry I didn't have an answer for them? Simple things can change the way we feel and I just thought I would share this with you!
I understand as for. 7years I worked in healthcare in care homes. Many of them enjoyed when area churches Including be mine,. Would do Sunday services. God bless the workers.
