I worked for a company named quickrete and i was hurt. One of the managers was texting his wife and hit the button and crushed my finger. He got nothing i got fired. 6 weeks after my surgery they maid take a hair toxt before coming back now you know theres all kind of pain pills in me. And that was there sorry exscuse for letting me go after 14 to 15 years on the job with no accidents.

Are the pain pills prescriptions? If so I wouldn't worry about it. Why would you get fired for getting hurt? If you can afford a lawyer I would go talk to one, or contact OSHA or the Job Force. But if a doctor has prescribed the meds I really wouldn't worry about it, or just cut your hair. Your hair grows about 1/2 an inch a month so over the last 6 weeks it would have only grown about 3/4 of an inch. so it would be a 'normal' haircut for a guy. Good luck.

Sorry that happened to you, Roland.
I used to work doing drug screens. If you have a prescription for the medication or drug found in your system then the drug screen is concerned negative not positive by the medical review officer. And also this would be known as a workmen comp insurance payout because he got injuried on the job. So most companies try to avoid paying those claims. So if you have all of your paper work in hand take it to a workers comp lawyer and they will fight for you. I know this because i worked in occupational medicine and this is what we had to deal with.
